GLOBAL PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
We are witnessing a fulfillment of a prophecy that was written about 2750 years ago. Isaiah proclaimed the Word that God gave him, “I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth” (Isa. 62: 6-7). A few months ago Pastor Mike Bickle threw down the gauntlet, calling Christians everywhere to fast and pray for Israel during the month of May. To date, about 5 million people have agreed to participate.
We at CFM, like many others, have responded to the call and each church, prayer group and individual will pray and fast as they feel God directing them. This is wonderful and we look with expectancy to see a powerful shift over Israel as a result of our partnership with God.
Over the past year the Lord gave us a four-part mandate to prophesy over Israel and these words were to come out of the book of Ezekiel. We did this last September in four different locations in the Holy Land, with a group of 55 disciples.
After searching through the book of Ezekiel, I discovered 30 prophecies, but only four spoke of God’s end-time blessings for Israel. They included the following. 1. Prophecy for the land. 2. Prophecy for the return of the Jewish People. 3. Prophecy for a spiritual revival. 4. Prophecy for God’s eternal purpose for Israel.
Since then, we have fine tuned these four prophecies and, as a congregation, we will face Jerusalem and proclaim a different one each Sunday morning in the month of May. We will host an early morning corporate prayer meeting once a week and encourage personal prayer throughout the month. Folks will fast as the Lord directs and at the end of the month celebrate a day-long conference to finalize the initiative. We will also preach on the blessing promised for Israel at our Sunday services. Here are the four proclamations the Lord has given us for this time.
The Land is your Inheritance – Ezekiel 36
Oh, Israel, hear the Word of the Lord. This day we prophesy to the mountains of Israel. The enemy said, “The ancient heights have become our possession.” You are the object of their slander, but I say to the mountains and hills, the ravines and valleys, the desolate ruins and deserted towns. [Vs. 1-4] “You, Oh mountains of Israel, will produce fruit for my people Israel. You will be plowed and sown and my people will multiply on you. Your towns will be rebuilt and inhabited and a great number of animals will flourish on you. The people of Israel will possess you. You are their inheritance.” [Vs.8-12] Then they will say, “This land that was laid waste has become like the Garden of Eden, I the Lord have spoken, and I will do it.” [Vs. 35-36]
The Dry Bones Come Together – Ezekiel 37
Oh, Israel, hear the Word of the Lord. The Spirit of the Lord sees you in the middle of a valley full of bones and He has sent a prophecy for you. [Vs. 2] The bones are very dry and they are the whole house of Israel. You said, “Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone and we are cut off.” [Vs. 11] But the Lord says “I will take you out of the nations where you have gone. I will gather you and bring you back to your land. And you will have one king over all of you. [Vs. 21-22]
There will be a loud noise, a rattling sound and tendons, flesh and skin will come on you. [Vs. 6-8] I will settle you in your own land. I the Lord have spoken and it is done. [Vs. 14] You will be my people and I will be your God. [Vs. 23]
The Breath of God Will Come – Ezekiel 37
Oh, Israel, hear the Word of the Lord. Tendons, flesh and skin have covered your bones but you still need revival, you need my breath.
This is what the Sovereign Lord says, “Come from the four winds O breath, and breathe into these slain that they may live.” I will put my Spirit in you and you will live. [Vs. 8-14]
My servant will be king over you and He will be your shepherd. You will follow His ways. [Vs. 24]
My servant will be your Prince forever and I the Lord will make you Holy. [Vs. 25-28]
I the Lord have spoken and I have done it. [Vs. 14]
My Sanctuary Among You Forever – Eze. 37
Oh, Israel, hear the Word of the Lord. You my people will know that I am the Lord when, I open your graves and bring you up from them. [Vs. 13]
You will live in the land I gave to my servant Jacob, the land where your father lived. You and your children’s children will live there forever. [Vs. 24]
I have made an everlasting covenant with you and I will put my sanctuary among you forever.
My dwelling place will be with you. I, the Lord will make Israel holy when my sanctuary is among them forever. [Vs. 25-28]
I the Lord have spoken and it is done. [Vs. 14]
Scripture reveals eight end-time promises for Israel. They are:
- God will give Israel their land – Eze. 20:42, Ge. 15:19
- God will gather the people of Israel to the land – Jer. 16:15, Isa. 11:12
- God will restore the fortunes of Israel – Zeph. 2:7, 3:19, Joel 3:1
- God will raise up prayer for Israel – Isa. 62:6-7
- God will grant Israel supernatural military strength – Zec. 12:1-3, 8-10
- God will give Israel revival Zec. 13:1, Isa. 45:17, Rev. 7:4
- God will give glory to Israel Isa. 60:1, Ro. 9:5
- God will judge the nations who oppose Israel – Joel 3:1-3
We pray our monthly teaching
devotional empowers & inspires you
to live a supernatural Christian life.
