In the coming months, Americans are going to subject to a on slot of information about who will become the next President of the United States in 2020. Although this is to be expected as the new election season roles around, Christians in America are going to be in the fight of a lifetime to keep the conservative momentum in Washington.
Democrats are drooling at the opportunity to get in on the action which has ultimately produced an interesting pool of liberal candidates for 2020. Most recently, Joe Biden put his hat in the ring stating, “I appreciate the energy you all showed when I got up here,” as he told an energetic crowd at the International Association of Fire Fighters’ annual conference in Washington, D.C. “Save it a little longer, I may need it in a few weeks. Be careful what you wish for.”
What does all of this mean for Christian conservatives in the U.S? Now is not the time to sit back and hope for the best. So much has been accomplished in the first term of President Trumps time in office and we do not want to see the Trump train come to a screeching halt simply because God’s people did not see the writing on the wall and step up to the plate.
Ephesians 6:13 says, “Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.” Therefore, now is not the time to sit on the sidelines. Now is the time to get in the game and be a change agent in the fight for God’s agenda in the White House.
